A steady place for the records that matter
Legara was set up with one purpose in mind: to make personal record-keeping less daunting for ordinary families in Thailand.
How Legara began
Legara was founded in Nonthaburi in 2019 by a small group of people who had all, at different points, faced the same experience: a parent or older relative passing away, leaving behind a tangle of unmarked folders, unclear accounts, and wishes that had never been written down. The work of piecing things together fell on family members who were already grieving, and the process was harder than it needed to be.
That shared experience led to a straightforward idea. Most families do not need a complicated system. They need a clear starting point, a sensible way to arrange what they have, and — if needed — careful help putting physical papers into a form that can actually be found later. Legara was built around those three practical things.
We are not lawyers or financial advisers. We offer informational workshops, filing tools, and archiving work. Everything we do is meant to reduce the burden on families, not to add to it.
What we stand for
Clarity over complexity
We write and speak in plain language. Workshops use everyday examples. Templates use clear headings. Nothing is needlessly complicated.
Your ownership, always
Documents stay in your hands. We produce the structure; you hold the records. That boundary is firm in every service we offer.
Appropriate scope
We are clear about what we do and do not do. When a question falls outside our scope, we say so and point you toward the right kind of professional.
Respect for the personal
Family records carry weight. We treat every collection with the discretion it deserves, whether it is a small envelope of certificates or several decades of correspondence.

Standards we hold ourselves to
Confidentiality as standard
Personal documents and the details within them are handled under strict internal confidentiality protocols. Information shared with us stays with us.
Scope clarity
Every engagement begins with a clear description of what the service covers and what it does not. We do not drift into legal, financial, or health territory.
No retained copies
After digitization work is complete and delivered, we remove all working copies from our systems. You receive the archive; we retain nothing.
Reviewed materials
Workshop content and toolkit templates are reviewed internally on a regular basis to keep them accurate, practical, and clearly written.
Honest communication
If a service is not the right fit for a client's situation, we say so clearly and do not proceed with a service that would not genuinely help.
Data protection awareness
Our handling of any personal data shared with us during enquiry and service delivery is guided by responsible data practices and a respect for client privacy.
Estate organisation services for Thai families
Legara operates from Nonthaburi and works with individuals and families across the greater Bangkok area. Our services cover three distinct areas of personal record-keeping: structured workshops for understanding what needs organising, a practical filing toolkit for home use, and hands-on digitization for families who want physical documents converted into a searchable archive.
Each service is designed to stand on its own. A family may only need the workshop to understand where to start. Another may prefer to work through the filing toolkit independently. A third may come to us specifically for the digitization work after years of accumulated papers. There is no single path, and we do not require clients to take all three services.
The materials and methods we use reflect the everyday realities of Thai family life: multi-generational households, documents in multiple languages, property spread across different provinces, and the particular sensitivity that surrounds personal records in the context of family relationships. Our workshop format accounts for these realities and keeps the content grounded in situations people actually encounter.
We have served clients in Nonthaburi, Bangkok, Pathum Thani, and Samut Prakan since opening in 2019. Sessions can be arranged at our Nonthaburi office or, for larger family groups, at a venue of the client's choice within the Bangkok metropolitan area.
